How do I know if I could request the carrier unlock service?
Insert the SIM card that’s not for the carrier you’re using. For example, insert a foreign SIM into the phone you bought locally. If the phone asks for unlock code, the phone can be carrier unlocked and you can request this service.
But, don’t attempt to input unlock code casually yourself, 10 wrong attempts may cause your phone lock to the carrier permanently.
What should I input if I need to place order?
You only need to provide your valid IMEI1. It should be written on your SIM slot or the back of your phone, or dial *#06# if you can access your phone’s main interface.
For security patch level, just enter the current date. And for Serial Number, you can choose provide or not (if not, input any value) – this depends on you.
Will this void the warranty? And will the data safe and sound after unlocked?
No, Carrier unlock won’t void the warranty, and it will not harm any data stored on your phone.
Can I request refund if cannot be carrier unlocked?
If the carrier unlock code cannot be generated, we will issue refund. Once requested and unlock code generated successfully, we will not issue refund for any reason.
Do Nokia phones sold in China need to be carrier unlocked?
No. Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology treated carrier lock on phones targeted to Chinese market illegal, so all of phones targeted to Mainland China are all carrier unlocked.
I’m a merchant with a batch of phones need to be carrier unlocked.
